Our national bird, the eagle, is known for its great perspective, and some indigenous tribes thought it communicated to Spirit what the humans were up to. This piece is a reflection on those indigenous roots and what patriotism means today.
48" x 39". Acrylic ink on *paper. Unframed. Layers of translucent and opaque ink give these paintings warmth and depth. Pen and ink is also used to sketch and illustrate details. Paper may have slight warping due to the moisture of the paint.
