Trailing of the Sheep

The painting depects the iconic trailing of the sheep that happens every year through Ketchum, Idaho. 

60" x 30" mixed media on raw canvas. A female horsewoman and her enthusiastic herding dog bring the sheep down from the highlands. This abstract piece is full of the harsh and dark mixed with softness and light notorious in Shauneen's paintings and is a reflection of a tough year she spent in the beatutiful Wood River Valley.
